Homeschool Cruise Quantum of the Seas

An open invite for homeschool families 💙

Brisbane | Feb 8–12, 2027 | Quantum of the Seas | 4 nights | Airlie Beach & back

If your family has been craving a proper break… not just a holiday where you spend the whole time organising everyone… this might be for you.

We’re putting together another Homeschool Cruise for February 2027, sailing out of Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) — 4 nights, up to Airlie Beach, then back again.

And it’s honestly just a really fun way to do family life for a few days — with other families who get the homeschool rhythm too.

✅ 4 nights Departing from Brisbane
✅ Food and drinks included**
✅ Entertainment included
✅ Family friendly cruise ship WITH kids club
✅ No passport needed - Sailing in Aussies waters

Royal Caribbean - Quantum of the Seas

What we love most about cruising as a group-

-Is watching kids find their people.

Not “maybe they’ll make friends”… but actually seeing it happen — kids running off together, meeting up for activities, chatting at meals, and doing that easy friendship thing that’s so much harder when you’re not in a regular school community.

And then there’s the ship itself.

If you’ve never cruised on a Royal Caribbean ship, it’s hard to explain… it feels like a floating city.

The first time kids see it, they’re wide-eyed in that “wait… we get to live here?” kind of way.

That mix of awe + freedom + friendship is what makes cruising so special.

What this cruise is (and what it isn’t)

This isn’t a “program” where you have to keep up.

It’s not school-at-sea.

It’s just a group of families travelling at the same time, with a bit of community built in — so your kids have mates, you’ve got familiar faces around you, and everything feels lighter.

A quick note about 2026

Our 2026 homeschool cruise hasn’t even sailed yet — and we’ve already got 150+ people coming.

That’s been such a reminder to us that so many families are looking for the same thing:

  • community for their kids

  • time together as a family

  • and something that’s fun without being exhausting

So we’re opening 2027 early for families who like to plan ahead (or who missed out last time).

A small perk for the group

Because we’re sailing as a group, each family gets USD $50 onboard credit to use on the ship - as long as they book before November 2026!

Nothing complicated — just a little bonus for coffees, treats, activities… whatever makes your cruise more enjoyable.

If you’re interested (even tentatively)

Right now we’re just collecting expressions of interest, because we need to organise quotes for each family (cabins and pricing vary a lot).

So we’re doing:

$50 per person fully refundable deposit

It basically holds your spot while we get your family’s quote sorted.

If you look at the quote and it’s not the right fit, that’s okay — it’s refundable.

(And just for clarity: pricing is set by Royal Caribbean, so we’re always working within their pricing and availability.)

If you’d like to come, we’d love to have you

Pop your name down below to register interest and to download our brochure. We’ll organise your options, and you can take it from there.
