And as we successfully hosted and facilitated these camps as we travel ourselves, we have refined and curated experiences that bring families from all over the world together through World School Camps in Vietnam, Egypt, Japan, and Borneo.

Why become a group leader…
You're already doing most of this.
If you're already leading a homeschool community — organising meetups, sharing resources, connecting families, holding a group together — then becoming a Group Leader for a World School Camp isn't a big leap. It's a natural next step.
You're already the person your community trusts to find good things and share them honestly. That’s all we’re asking you to do here, with a destination attached.
The rest of it — the bookings, the payments, the logistics, the local guides, the itinerary — that's on us. We've done this before, across four countries, with our own four kids in tow. You bring the community. We'll take care of the trip.
How It Works
Four steps to leading your community somewhere extraordinary.
You don't need to be a travel expert. You need to be someone your community already trusts — and we take care of everything else.
01) Apply as a Group Leader
Submit a short expression of interest. We’ll be in touch within 48 hours with your leader kit and the Group Leader Agreement to sign. Your own family books first with a deposit, then you’re ready to share.
02) Choose your destination
Pick from Vietnam, Japan, Egypt, or Borneo — or let your community guide the choice. We'll match you to the right 2027 camp date.
03) Share with your people
Use your personal booking link and our ready-made materials to invite your homeschool community in your own voice.
04) Lead the trip — and travel with them
Once 8 travellers from your community have paid in full, you start earning credits toward your own family’s land costs as a thank-you. Every 15 travellers covers one adult’s land costs, and 30 covers two, which is the most on any camp. Then you travel with them as the leader.
Group Leader Credits
The more your community comes, the less your family pays.
Credits come off your own family’s land costs for the camp you lead, which covers accommodation and the activities included in the camp. Flights, visas, insurance, tips and optional extras aren’t covered. Credits are a thank-you for leading, not commission, and there’s no target you have to hit.
Only travellers from your community who have paid in full count, and they need to be aged 2 or over. Families who’ve only paid a deposit, or who pay and then cancel, don’t count. Your own family isn’t counted, and neither are babies under 2. Each family counts for one Group Leader only.

Credits build with every traveller from your community who pays in full. Every 15 travellers covers one adult’s land costs, up to two adults (2 credits) at 30 or more. The table shows examples. Credits go up in between, so 12 travellers earns 0.8 credits and 25 earns 1.7.
Once the group’s balance payment deadline has passed and every payment is in, we work out your credits and take them off your family’s final balance for that camp. Credits only cover land costs for your own family on that departure. They can’t be transferred, sold or carried forward to another date, another camp or another year.
To earn credits you’ll need to sign the Group Leader Agreement before the balance payment deadline. Credits are lost if you cancel your own booking or the group finishes under 8 travellers.
The Group Leader Program is for World School Camps only. Cruise group bookings are quoted separately under the cruise line’s own group terms and don’t earn Group Leader credits. Royal Caribbean has its own credit system for group bookings, and we’ll explain how it works when we quote.
The Open Group Option

Building a group from scratch takes real effort. If you find yourself a few travellers short, we can try to help — but we want to be upfront: there are no guarantees. Here's exactly what we can and can't promise.
How it works
Private group first. Open to others — if you choose, and if we can.
Every Group Leader starts with a private booking page — exclusively for their community. Your group builds in its own trusted space, with no outside interference.
If you’re a few travellers short as the booking deadline gets close, we give you the option to open the remaining spots to the wider Dream Big Travels community. We'll promote them through our newsletter, social channels, and partner networks — across Australia and internationally.
We will always try our hardest to help fill those spots. But we want to be honest with you: we can’t guarantee we’ll find the travellers needed to reach the minimum group size. Demand varies by destination, season, and timing — and ultimately, the success of a group rests primarily with the Group Leader's own community-building efforts.
Every camp has its own minimum group size, set by our ground operator and shown in your booking proposal. Reaching 8 travellers switches on your credits. It doesn’t mean the camp will go ahead.
Your choice, always. Opening the group is entirely opt-in. You decide if and when you're ready. We never open your group without your explicit agreement — and we'll always be transparent with you about how the wider promotion is tracking.
If a departure doesn’t reach its minimum, we may cancel it or move it to another date. If we cancel, families are offered a refund or a move to another date or a comparable camp, as set out in clauses 10.4 and 12.9 of our Terms and Conditions.
How the open group process works
You've shared with your community and have, say, 14 of 20 travellers booked. You're 6 short of your target with a few weeks to go.
We reach out to you and ask: would you like us to open the remaining spots? No pressure, your call entirely.
If yes, we promote the open spots to our wider community via our newsletter, social channels, and partner networks — across Australia and internationally.
New families join through the same booking page. Your role as Group Leader stays the same. Your credits are worked out on travellers from your own community who have paid in full, not the new families.
If spots are filled, the group goes ahead and your community travels alongside new world schooling friends from across the globe. If the group still doesn’t reach the numbers it needs, we’ll work through your options with you, which may include moving to a later date. Credits don’t move with the group. They’re worked out fresh for whichever departure actually runs.
Important — please read: While we will actively promote open spots and do everything we can to help, Dream Big Travels cannot guarantee that remaining spots will be filled. The open group option is a best-effort support measure, not a promise that every trip will proceed. The primary responsibility for building a group rests with the Group Leader.

How we work together.
This is an honest partnership. You're not an employee, not an agent, and we're not asking you to sell. We want to be completely clear about what this is — and what it isn't.

✓ Share your personal link through your group chats, social media, email, or word of mouth — in your own voice.
✓ Use our provided materials — images, captions, and the Info Pack — adapted for your community's tone.
✓ Answer general questions from your group and send anything specific our way.
✓ Share your enthusiasm — if you believe in this experience, say so. That’s why we want you.
✓ Earn credits once 8 travellers from your community have paid in full, not counting your own family. Credits build with every traveller up to a maximum of 2 adult land fares, and they only apply to your family’s land costs on that departure.
✓ Opt in to the open group option if you need a few more travellers to fill your group. It’s completely up to you.
✕ What you may not do
✕ Make promises or guarantees about the trip on our behalf. All specific enquiries must come to us.
✕ Collect money or deposits from your community. All bookings and payments are handled exclusively by Dream Big Travels.
✕ Represent yourself as an employee or agent of Dream Big Travels. You're a community leader sharing something you believe in — nothing more.
✕ Pressure or incentivise members of your community to book. Sharing is welcome — selling is not.
✕ Misrepresent pricing or inclusions. Always use our materials or direct people to the booking page for specifics.
✕ Modify or reproduce our itinerary or materials in a way that misrepresents what the trip includes or excludes.
🏮A note on transparency:
We ask that you let your community know you may receive a travel credit as a Group Leader for this trip. Honest promotion is the only kind we want — your community will respect you more for it, and it keeps everyone on the right side of Australian consumer guidelines around referral arrangements.
