World School Cruise Asia Navigator, Part 1. 12 nights aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas, Tokyo (Yokohama) to Singapore, departing Wednesday 12 May 2027.
This cruise runs across two back to back sailings on the same ship. Book this part on its own, or add World School Cruise Asia Navigator Part 2, the Singapore round trip from 24 - 29 May, and stay onboard for 17 nights without ever changing cabins.
Where does Part 1 go?
Four days in Japan to start. Nagoya, then two full days in Kyoto and Osaka with the ship in port overnight, so there’s no rush. Then south to Okinawa and Ishigaki, a subtropical Japan most people never see. A full day and a full night in Hong Kong. Then three days crossing the South China Sea into Singapore.
Six port days, five sea days, three countries.
Day by day, Tokyo to Singapore
Day 1 · Wed 12 May · Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan · depart 5:00 PM. Embark in Yokohama and sail out past the Tokyo skyline.
Day 2 · Thu 13 May · Nagoya, Japan · 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Samurai castles, hands on science and technology museums, and the workshop heart of Japan’s car and craft country.
Day 3 · Fri 14 May · Kyoto (Osaka), Japan · arrive 12:30 PM. Your gateway to Kyoto’s temples and torii gates, and to Osaka’s street food.
Day 4 · Sat 15 May · Kyoto (Osaka), Japan · depart 5:00 PM. A second full day ashore. Go deeper into one place instead of racing three.
Day 5 · Sun 16 May · At sea.
Day 6 · Mon 17 May · Okinawa (Naha), Japan · 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Subtropical Japan. Shuri Castle, coral reefs, and a food culture all of its own.
Day 7 · Tue 18 May · Ishigaki, Japan · 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Closer to Taiwan than to Tokyo. Clear water, mangroves and star sand beaches.
Day 8 · Wed 19 May · At sea.
Day 9 · Thu 20 May · Hong Kong · 8:00 AM - 11:59 PM. Star Ferry, the Peak, street markets, dim sum, and the harbour light show after dark.
Day 10 · Fri 21 May · At sea.
Day 11 · Sat 22 May · At sea.
Day 12 · Sun 23 May · At sea. Three days crossing the South China Sea. This is the stretch families tell us about afterwards.
Day 13 · Mon 24 May · Singapore · arrive 7:00 AM. Disembark, or stay onboard and roll straight into Part 2.
Royal Caribbean sets the ports and times and they can change for weather or operations. We’ll confirm the final schedule with you at the time of booking.
What is there to do on Navigator of the Seas?

How much does Part 1 cost?
We don’t put a headline price on this camp and there’s a reason for that. Cruise fares move with cabin category, with how many of you are in the room, and with the age of your kids.
A family of three in an interior cabin and a family of six across two balconies are two completely different numbers.
So we quote you properly instead.

How do we book, and do we have to pay a deposit?
If the quote works, I can place a 4 day hold on your cabin. No deposit, no card, nothing locked in. Your cabin and your fare are held while you talk it over.
Royal Caribbean lets us do that because we’re booking well ahead. The hold runs out on its own after the 4 days and the cabin goes back on sale, and it can’t be extended. So that’s your window to say yes.
