Full Itinerary

  • This 10-day journey is designed for families who want more than just sightseeing — it’s about experiencing Japan together in a way that blends culture, fun, and connection. From Tokyo’s neon energy to Kyoto’s peaceful temples and Osaka’s vibrant streets, every day offers something new to spark curiosity in kids and delight parents.

Our camps bring families together, so while you’ll travel with your own loved ones, you’ll also share the adventure with a community of other families. Each detail — from pre-booked tickets to family-friendly pacing — has been carefully arranged so you can focus on enjoying Japan, not managing logistics. This is a chance to step into another culture, strengthen family bonds, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Arrive in Tokyo and settle into your hotel after a private group transfer. Families arriving at different times will be looked after with arranged transfers so everyone starts the journey stress-free.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a relaxed welcome and orientation. Kids meet new friends, parents connect with other families, and together we set the tone for the days ahead — community, curiosity, and adventure.

  • Our adventure begins at Meiji Jingu Shrine, a forest sanctuary in the heart of the city. It’s stroller-friendly, peaceful, and a gentle way to step into Japan’s traditions. Next, we experience the world-famous Shibuya Crossing, where neon lights and bustling crowds create an unforgettable energy.

Later, we explore the quiet grounds of Zojoji Temple before climbing Tokyo Tower for sweeping views of the city. Tickets are pre-booked to keep things smooth. The day flows at a family-friendly pace, balancing excitement with moments to slow down and soak it all in.

  • Start the day at Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest temple, with its lively Nakamise shopping street where families can pick up treats or souvenirs. Then step into Akihabara, the district of anime, manga, and gaming. Kids and parents can choose whether to dive into the shops or enjoy a short break nearby.

The highlight is teamLab Planets, an immersive digital art experience where kids wade through glowing water and mirrored rooms. With plenty of time set aside, families can fully enjoy this one-of-a-kind world. The day ends at Odaiba, a family playground by the water with attractions like Gundam Base and LEGOLAND Discovery.

  • We travel to the Yamanashi region for a full day near Japan’s most famous peak. At the Fuji World Heritage Center, families learn the mountain’s cultural importance through interactive displays. Then it’s time to explore a colourful Flower Park, bursting with seasonal blooms.

The day’s highlight is a Swan Lake boat ride with Mt. Fuji in the background (weather permitting). Even if the peak hides behind clouds, the scenery is beautiful. Our private coach includes rest stops every two hours, so little travellers stay comfortable.

  • Nagoya blends history with modern innovation. We begin at Nagoya Castle, where children can imagine samurai life while exploring the impressive grounds. Inside the Honmaru Palace, families admire golden screens and intricate design.

Next, visit the Toyota Kaikan Museum, a showcase of futuristic cars and robots that sparks curiosity in kids and parents alike. We finish the day at Atsuta Shrine, a peaceful sacred site. Guides will recommend easy, family-friendly lunch stops along the way.

  • This day is packed with highlights. At Fushimi Inari Shrine, thousands of bright red gates create winding tunnels — kids love racing through them, while parents enjoy the sense of history.

Next, in Nara Park, families feed gentle deer with special crackers (just ¥200) before heading into Todai-ji Temple to marvel at the Great Buddha. Kids can even try squeezing through the “Buddha’s Nostril” pillar for good luck. With space for picnics and play, this day blends culture with fun.

  • Start at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, with its huge wooden terrace overlooking the city. Families enjoy the lively streets leading up to the temple, full of sweets and shops.

Next, visit the glittering Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), reflected in its pond, before strolling into the magical Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. The day ends with a traditional cultural performance of music and dance — a colourful way to experience Kyoto’s artistry.

  • In Osaka, history meets modern culture. Explore Osaka Castle, either inside the museum or around the grounds, before enjoying a family nature walk in Minoo Park with its waterfalls and butterflies.

The day’s highlight is a visit to Sumo Hall, where families watch Japan’s iconic sport up close. A bento box meal is included, with child-friendly and dietary options catered for in advance. It’s a unique cultural experience that’s both fun and educational.

  • After so many full days of discovery, today is for rest, flexibility, and family choice. Some families may want to relax at the hotel, while others might explore Osaka at their own pace. Options include visiting the famous Dotonbori district with its giant signs and street food, discovering Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, or simply enjoying time together in local parks and shops.

This free day is designed so families can follow their own rhythm — whether that means adventure, downtime, or a bit of both. It’s also a great chance for kids to spend unstructured time with new friends before the trip winds down.

  • After breakfast, we gather our belongings and head to Osaka airport for onward flights. Saying goodbye is never easy, but families leave with new friendships, incredible memories, and the confidence that comes from exploring a new culture together.

The lessons your children take home — about history, kindness, and curiosity — will last far beyond the trip itself.
