Cairo – Aswan & Board the Nile Cruise

Today, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Aswan*, situated on the Nile River and known for its great importance to the Ancient Egyptian civilisation.
• Transfer by air to Aswan after breakfast.
• Enjoy a relaxing felucca boat ride along the Nile to observe riverside life.
• Visit the Granite Quarry with its Unfinished Obelisk and the Aswan High Dam.
• Embark on your Nile cruise ship, settle into your cabin, and optionally visit the Island of Philae to
see the Temple of Isis.

Aswan → Kom Ombo
• Full-board aboard the cruise. Opt for an early-morning excursion to Abu Simbel (departing around
3–3:30 a.m. to beat the heat and crowds).
• Sail to Kom Ombo to explore the twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek and view the Nilometer.
• Visit a charming crocodile mummy museum before returning to the ship for a leisurely evening.
